Anti-Corruption Efforts at Chailease Company in the First Half of 2024 and the Remaining Six Months

In the first half of 2024, Chailease International Leasing Company Limited (CILC) continued to build on and enhance its anti-corruption, anti-negativity, and anti-crime efforts within the banking sector, compared to the same period in 2023. Operating on the principles of transparency, openness, and accountability, CILC consistently strives to raise awareness and skills among all employees through specialized online training programs on anti-corruption and anti-negativity regulations.

Key Achievements in the First Half of 2024:

  • Enhancing Employee Awareness and Skills: The online training program has significantly improved the awareness and skills of new employees regarding anti-corruption regulations. As a result, CILC ensures that every employee understands their responsibilities and complies with legal regulations.

  • Transparency in Operations: CILC adheres to principles of transparency in both organization and operations. All information related to the company’s activities, credentials, and partners is publicly available on the company's website (https://www.chailease.com.vn/vn/), allowing customers, partners, and authorities to easily access and stay informed.

  • Evaluation and Improvement: The company’s departments diligently carry out assigned tasks and regularly evaluate their work to gain insights and enhance operational capabilities.

  • Specific Results: In the first half of 2024, CILC did not detect any incidents or acts related to corruption within the company. This reflects the seriousness and effectiveness of the anti-corruption measures that CILC has implemented.

The leadership of CILC is committed to continuing the serious implementation of strategies, tasks, and programs of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption, contributing to the creation of a healthy, transparent, and effective working environment.

Corruption Forecast for the Remaining Six Months:

In compliance with Official Dispatch 2119/NHNN-TTGSNH regarding the anti-corruption reporting by the State Bank of Vietnam, one of the new tasks that CILC must undertake is forecasting the corruption situation.

This forecast will enable the company to proactively prevent and respond to potential situations in the face of economic difficulties, profit pressures, and the competitive environment in 2024, which may pose increased risks of corruption and negativity. CILC forecasts that it will continue to maintain and effectively control the anti-corruption situation within the company in the next six months by continuously updating internal policies and complying with legal regulations as directed by the State Bank.

Compliance and Implementation of Anti-Corruption Efforts at Chailease Company:

To comply with and enhance the anti-corruption efforts, successfully implement the plan set out by the company's Anti-Corruption, Anti-Negativity, and Anti-Crime Steering Committee, and achieve the forecasted objectives, the entire staff of Chailease Company needs to:

  1. Strictly Comply with Legal and Company Policies: All members of the company, from leadership to employees, must understand and adhere to current legal regulations as well as internal policies on anti-corruption.

  2. Increase Personal Awareness and Responsibility: Each employee must voluntarily raise their awareness and responsibility in anti-corruption efforts. Employees should be fully aware that any violation harms not only the individual but also the entire company.

  3. Actively Participate in Training Programs: All employees must fully and actively participate in anti-corruption training programs to enhance their knowledge and skills.

  4. Ensure Transparency in Work: All company activities, from financial management to transactions with partners, must be carried out transparently in accordance with legal regulations and internal company policies. Employees must adhere to this principle to prevent any potential corrupt behavior.

  5. Timely Report Signs and Acts of Corruption: Employees are encouraged to immediately report any signs or acts of corruption they detect. The company will protect the rights and confidentiality of the whistleblower.

  6. Proactively Propose Initiatives and Contribute Ideas: Employees should actively propose initiatives and contribute ideas on anti-corruption measures based on practical cases with signs of corruption or negativity. These contributions will be considered and applied if appropriate.

By implementing these measures, the leadership and entire staff of Chailease Company will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the effectiveness of anti-corruption efforts, ensuring the company's sustainable and transparent development in the future.
